In Store: Our products are sold in grocery stores, fitness studios, CrossFit gyms, bookstores, coffee shops, juice bars and many other retailers.

All of our protein bars are made in the United States.

RXBAR ^® protein bars wrappers are not recyclable but if you buy any of our products by the box, the paperboard boxes are. We use a high barrier film that is non-recyclable to ensure our products maintain their high quality throughout shelf life. This specific film prevents our bars from oxidizing. Unfortunately, there is no recyclable alternative for us to use at this time.

We're always keeping tabs on this technology and hope to make the transition to recyclable packaging in the near future.

We use dried egg-whites that go through a high heat pasteurization process, which ensures they are shelf stable and safe to consume. However, if you have any concerns about consuming our products, please consult your health care provider.

No. Each product contains (pasteurized) egg whites.

We source as many ingredients as possible from within the United States.

Ingredients that are not grown in the U.S., such as cocoa and cashews, are sourced from outside the US.

We are selective when it comes to our suppliers and make sure they are upholding high ethical standards, including labour practices and conditions.

We take great care in working with our partnering farmers and suppliers to ensure the highest quality ingredients for our products.

None of our protein bars contain added MSG.

We put egg whites, dates, and nuts on the front of the pack because those are the core ingredients in all of our products and provide a combination of protein, fat, and fibre.

Why do we list these on the front?

It’s the introduction to the product. It’s the first thing your eyes see as you walk by the shelf at a grocery store. This is our way of communicating the value of our product: real, simple ingredients.

We love egg whites because they're a complete protein. This means it has all of the essential amino acids and the protein is easily available for our bodies to use.

RXBAR ^® protein bars do not contain added sugar. The sugar is naturally occurring from real food ingredients.

Natural flavours are made with oils, essences and extracts from natural sources, such as spices, fruits, plants or vegetables. These natural flavours are used to ensure consistency. When you open one of our products, it should taste and smell the same every time and natural flavours help make that happen.

Our products are not certified organic. We work closely with our suppliers and have policies in place to ensure our ingredients are of the highest quality.

All RXBAR ^® protein bars are certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union when bearing the OU symbol.

Although they would be safe to eat, we do not recommend freezing them as it would compromise the texture and quality of the bar.

An RXBAR ^® protein bar is a protein bar made with a short list of high quality, whole food ingredients. With a base of egg whites, fruit and nuts, each RXBAR ^® protein bar contains no added sugar and provides 12 grams of protein in 200-220 calories or less. Enjoy RXBAR ^® protein bars post workout or in between meals.

Depending on the flavour, RXBAR ^® protein bars contain between 140-300mg of sodium per bar.

Some of this is naturally occurring from egg whites and depending on the flavour, sea salt also contributes.
